ABOUT BILL
Bill started playing music in his early teens right after he received his first guitar as a gift. He played talent shows and basements with a few friends in high school, while beginning to write lyrics. He didn't sing much the first few years of playing live, but after singing for the talent portion of a show in his small hometown in New Jersey, he was hooked. Melodies, lyrics, cover songs, Bill never stopped playing. After going to college in Connecticut with a few originals under his belt, he really found his sound.
After the initial release on iTunes, Bill's 2011 single "Hope Song" was lucky enough to be included on the New York Yankees media sound track for their annual community service week called "Hope Week."
Bill can be found playing local bars, benefit shows, the college circuit..and really anywhere that will listen. His relatable lyrics and catchy melodies make listening to his music a truly enjoyable experience.
Having opened for the likes of Bronze Radio Return, Mark Wills, and Paul Simon, along with a decade of cover shows under his belt, Bill Haug is proud to release his first original record. This nine-song composition, titled Love & Trust, combines rock melodies and warm vocals with relatable song writing. Love and Trust will be available on 11/16.
